MARIE  STRANDBERG

I licensed as a psychologist in the year 2007 from the University Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid.

I am authorized to practice as a clinical psychologist both in Sweden and in Spain. I can offer therapy in English, Swedish and Spanish.

I work with evidence based treatment. This means that the therapy is anchored in the latest psychological research. My theoretical ground is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but I also work with therapies that evolved from CBT which are called the ”third” and the  ”fourth wave” CBT. These therapies focus more on acceptance and adapting a mindful approach to our inner experiences instead of trying to change them. 

I also do a lot of work with emotions and the body. 

The therapy of choice are always based on an individually assessment where we together make a treatment plan for your specific needs.

I have experience from working in psychiatry, primary care and private practice. I have a vast competence acquired from meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds with all sorts of psychological problems/diagnosis over the last 10 years.

I offer consultations at my office in Palma, as well as online, video sessions.
